We’re all eagerly awaiting the end of 2020 in hopes that 2021 has a lot more to offer.
Since we’re still dealing with the pandemic, most of us are trying to make the most of the holidays and the new year while staying home.
If you’re looking for a creative way to ring in the new year from the safety of your home or quarantine bubble, here are 12 virtual events you can join to get you through the night!
Time: 8pm-1am GMT / 3pm-8pm EDT
Details: This ‘rave from home’ will star DJ Yoda, Mr Scruff, Beardyman and many more, playing from venues around the world – including London’s Royal Albert Hall. The event is called ‘Rave to the Moon’ because the organisers figured out every dancing adult will make 6,000 steps over the course of an hour on an average night out. So if 16,000 ravers tune in during the stream, altogether they should make some 577 million steps – roughly how far away the moon is. The event is free to watch on Mixcloud Live, but attendees are encouraged to donate a fee charity of their choice, or set up a JustGiving fundraiser for others to donate to.
Time: Watch in your local time from 20:00 – 03:00 (8PM – 3AM).
Price: €20 ($24)
